BFGoodrich® Tires announced today an official contingency program in the growing National Auto Sport Association (NASA) road racing series, continuing its commitment to improving the motorsports experience. Retroactive to May 1, 2011, the contingency program will enable the BFGoodrich® g-Force™ R1™ tire to be used in dry conditions, with the BFGoodrich® g-Force™ T/A®KDW allowed for wet surfaces.
25 different classes of racecars are eligible for the contingency program, which will reward competitors with race tires for their wins and podium finishes.

To be eligible for contingencies, racers must use BFGoodrich competition tires on-track. Classes eligible for the contingency are AI, AIX, HC1, HC2, HC3, HC4, HC5, 944 Spec, GTSU, GTS1, GTS2, GTS3, GTS4, GTS5, PTA, PTB, PTC, PTD, PTe, PTF, ST1, ST2, STR1, STR2 and SU.
