BFGoodrich® Tires making tracks at SEMA with racing and new product integration

As the automotive world descends on Las Vegas for the premier automotive specialty products event, the Specialty equipment Market Association (SeMA) show, BFGoodrich® Tires arrives with a focus on the brands' racing heritage and its new all-terrain tire.

As part of its long-standing partnership with SCORe International and the world of desert racing, BFGoodrich Tires is sponsoring the SeMA Show SCORe Baja 1000 experience, which includes the qualifying for the 2014 Tecate SCORe Baja 1000 to take place Nov 4 at a specially designed course around Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dozens of the world's top desert racers, many on BFGoodrich Tires will participate in the qualifying event in preparation for the race which will run down Mexico's Baja peninsula from ensenada to La Paz beginning on Nov. 13.

The SeMA Show SCORe Baja 1000 experience includes a 70,000-square foot desert racing exhibit outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center's South Hall. On display will be dozens of Tecate SCORe Baja 1000 SCORe Trophy Truck and unlimited Class 1 race vehicles, exhibits from leading off-road and desert racing companies, the SCORe transporter, a huge stage, a massive SCORevision where SCORe Dirt LiveHD will be streaming, press conferences, autograph sessions and an interactive SCORe Baja pit crew competition area.

In addition to this integration with one of the most anticipated new events at SeMA, BFGoodrich Tires will also be holding autograph sessions at its location at the SCORe Baja 1000 experience and a specially designed social media booth featuring a Baja racing vehicle. Autograph sessions will include BFGoodrich Performance Team members including: Ryan Arciero, Casey Currie, Rob MacCachren, Bryce Menzies and Justin Bean Smith.

At the booth, BFGoodrich will display at SCORe Baja 1000 Class 10 race buggy outfit with KO2 tires, the tire which won the class in the 2013 SCORe Baja 1000 and is now available for consumer purchase. The display will consist of a social media photo booth allowing visitors to capture themselves in the essence of Baja with images to be shared on their personal social channels.

The centerpiece of the booth will be around the brand's new All-Terrain T/A® KO2 tire. BFGoodrich Tires is the company that created the first all-terrain tire in 1976 and has launched its most advanced light truck tire ever with the new All-Terrain T/A® KO2 tire. The tire is now available in 12 initial sizes to consumers at more than 20,000 BFGoodrich authorized dealers.

Building on BFG's long heritage as an innovative all-terrain tire maker, the KO2 incorporates technology developed and tested through the brand's legendary off-road motorsports teams that have earned 80 off-road wins at races in the Baja peninsula - by far the most by any tire brand.
